Account Manager

About The Position

Automat-it is an all-in AWS Premier partner that empowers startups with DevOps and FinOps expertise and hands-on services. We guide and support hundreds of startups leveraging AWS smarter throughout their growth journey. We save our customers significant time to market and optimize their cloud performance and cost-effectiveness.

Automat-it operates in more than seven countries across EMEA. We provide a dynamic environment where you can expand your professional expertise and make a significant impact.

We’re seeking an Account Manager to drive Automat-it business growth in the Israeli territory of Greenfield accounts while assuring a great customer experience. You’ll be responsible for the sales process, from prospecting to closing a deal. 

📍 Work location - hybrid from Tel Aviv


  • Develop and execute successful targeted territory development plans to help achieve or exceed growth, revenue, and margin targets
  • Develop and manage all phases of the territory’s business development cycle, including managing proposal negotiations, the statement-of-work, and completion of all contract details
  • Demonstrates breadth and depth of knowledge in aligning Automat-IT capabilities to client business and positioning relative to competitors
  • Prospect new customers and communicate with the AWS reps regularly
  • Maintain and develop strategic vendor relations with AWS
  • Regularly attend business events to promote and educate prospective clients on the benefits of Automat-it
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing, Operations, Delivery, and Solutions Architects


  • 4+ years of experience in direct IT sales and business development from a complex cloud or software solutions
  • Proven successful track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
  • In-depth experience with selling AWS services
  • Network and relationships with Israeli-based digital native/ISV/startup companies
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Hebrew
  • AWS cloud certificated
  • Excellent presentation and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Commitment to regular business travel
  • Working experience with Salesforce and/or Hubspot - advantage
