Fabella is a Swedish company that applies knowledge of gaming technology to the e-learning space. The Fabella platform enables what the company calls «Vibe Authoring»—an agentic AI-native way for course creators to build interactive, scalable learning content designed to engage employees without requiring them to master technical knowledge.
The Challenge: Accelerate and Expand Content Generation
Generic onboarding sessions and corporate compliance trainings can often feel like a chore for employees, leading to disengagement. Fabella identified several key bottlenecks in traditional e-learning development:
- High Barrier to Entry: Creating a course required dual expertise in both the subject matter and complex technical authoring tools.
- Slow Content Generation: The previous process for creating a course outline took approximately 10 minutes, slowing down the time-to-market for critical training.
- Lack of Personalization: There was a need for more relevant, personalized training that could be easily accessed across various devices, including phones, laptops, and tablets.
The Solution: An Agentic-AI Powered Platform
Automat-it partnered with Fabella to build an agentic AI-powered platform on AWS that simplifies and improves the course creation experience. Key components of the solution include:
- Amazon Bedrock AgentCore: This powers the conversational experience and leverages multiple AI models to generate high-quality course content.
- Conversational Workflow: Agentic AI allows for an interactive workflow where the platform remembers context and specific customer needs based on the conversation.
- Amazon Bedrock Knowledge Bases: This allows the AI to securely find and use a customer’s own documents as a foundation for course content.
- Custom Guardrails: Created by Automat-it engineers, these enable specific safety and content rules tailored to each customer’s requirements.
