Junior FinOps Analyst

About The Position

Automat-it is an all-in AWS Premier partner that empowers startups with DevOps and FinOps expertise and hands-on services. We guide and support hundreds of startups leveraging AWS smarter throughout their growth journey. We save our customers significant time to market and optimize their cloud performance and cost-effectiveness.

We're looking for a FinOps Analyst to join our team in Lviv and help us create leading-edge technology solutions for our customers.

📍 Work location - hybrid from Lviv

Responsibilities

Be a first point of contact for Automat-it customers regarding their AWS billing and consumption data
Work closely with Automat-it customers to help them understand, monitor and analyze their cloud consumption data
Suggest cost optimization opportunities in customers’ environments, implement or supervise the implementation of the recommendations
Create and manage data alerts and budgets based on data models to identify anomalies in cloud spend
Create and deliver ad-hoc reports and dashboards
Onboard new customers to Automat-it services
Make an impact on internal FinOps tool development

Requirements

Customer-orientated and excellent communication skills
Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
Excellent organizational and task management skills
Solid working experience with spreadsheets, reporting, and task management systems
Ability to analyze various volumes of data and generate meaningful insights
Ability to translate reports into actionable recommendations
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, finances, or operations research - advantage
Have practical experience in FinOps or similar cloud-related roles - advantage
IT project experience in a similar role or as a junior Project Manager - advantage
Understand cloud services, architectures, and tools - advantage
Worked with cost management tools, such as CloudHealth or Anodot - advantage
